He holds only one World Poker Tour title that he was at the LA Poker Classic defeating players such as Phil Hellmuth and Nam Le for a $1,596,000 first prize. He won this on his eighth try, breaking his seven final table losing streak. He has earned almost 3 million dollars from World Poker Tour cashes in his life time.

Ivey also has plenty of other tournament scores in his lifetime. He holds a second place at the 2006 European Poker Tour in his debut tournament. In 2005, he got first place in the Monte Carlo Millions for a 1 million dollar first prize and then the day after won the Full Tilt Poker invitational for $600,000.
