In 2006 Phil broke his own record by obtaining his 10th bracelet in the $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Rebuy event. He was then tied in bracelets with other poker legends Johnny Chan and Doyle Brunson, despite the fact that Phil’s bracelets were all earned in No Limit Hold’em. His 2007 win was his record breaking 11th bracelet. Phil won in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event, making history once again.
